yeah i went with the cloth because the cloth in most new vehicles is really nice and comfy, you can take care of leather really well but eventually it will crack and after that it just looks like butt.......plus here in texas its really hot and yeah the leather just holds in the heat and cold during the winter......im thinking maybe down the the road i might redo the seats in a black microfiber swede, its really comfortable an just as nice as leather. this will be my first cloth vehicle, all my previous had leather an its just a pain in the butt, id rather spend more of my time detailing the outside than the inside anyway.....

I got a 2LT/RS with leather because I figured if it looked and felt as good as my
2004 Monte Carlo SS, I couldn't do without it.

I would neve get a car with cloth if I can get it with leather, but that's just me. Cloth won't hold up as well as leather, and just isn't as comfortable either.

I'm sorry but I don't see...............

^this grade of cloth wearing poorly over time. This fabric is entirely different from traditional cloth used in most cars.

eh are you some sort of cloth expert now lol?

I have leather, though I wanted cloth, but the leather has actually turned out to be quite confortable, and not like in my gf's mustang.

Sat inside a CGM LS with black cloth and couldn't find a damn thing wrong with it. Quite nice actually. I'll have to sit in a car with leather to know which one for sure I'd rather have, but cloth is looking quite appealing at the moment.

I have been using the small portable bissel steam vac. You add oxy and water and it has a trigger then you vac it up. Smells new after I run it.

The oxy is good cause it does not leave a film or anything.

You can rent the bigger machine from grocery or wally mart.

Ive got cloth in Formula and it smells great in the car. Plus, its almost 10 years old.

Keep the car clean and you wont have any type of smells in there.

Amen to that. Grandpa always said, "you take care of your car your car will take care of you". Owner of a C3 Vette and many a Cadillac. He'd be happy to see me tooling around in a new Camaro. God bless his soul.

My cars are always used so I need the cleaner. But still it's good for like the beach or little mud or a spill to have the machine.
