Cheap way to fix dent

I just saw this on youtube and it looks awesome! Anyone try this before? I would love to hear this works from a credible source.

Plastic does have a memory. I know if you heat it up it is possible it will go back to its original form.

You should do a DIY on that... using your bumper.

I have done it before (not on my Camaro). It does work but only for ones that are not creased and not on hard body lines. They have to be near the center of a body panel.

Seconded. It does work, even on deep dents it will still help but not fully return the metal to it's original shape. Great little trick.

My dad had been sporting a bumper dent for a while in his caddy ... so i thought i would try the hair dryer trick ... and wow ... dent no more =))) didn't even need the the can of compressed air ...
and I don't think he had washed it in over a year .. so I washed it quick with just a sponge no bucket .... and he thought I slaved on it all day ... boy is pearl white the most forgiving paint in the world or what ... the dam car looked like new ... remind me why i usually buy black vehicles!!

It looks like it works well on those dents that DONT have scratches. Those are hard to find around here.
