Thanks John!! Luved seeing u but missed Linda Yes it is and I showed my mailman and the gasguy and.they were impressed! Honestly I dont feel worthy next to such great cars and I think someone liked Hello Kittu or thanks to Mark... My new rims and.tires!!!!

Quick fuse pull update: the car performance degraded within a 100 miles of a fill up on Friday. I don't know if the fill up had anything to do with it. I pulled the fuses overnight on Saturday the car is performing fine. I'll fill the car up at my normal spot Tuesday and see if the throttle response is impacted within a hundred miles. If not, I'll presume gas quality was an issue and keep tracking. The fuse pulls are a nuisance but I think they are worth it until I get the car tuned. BTW: who owns the silver/black L99 that was parked at Sams today? The stripes look great.

Does anyone know how you can make your trunk open up completely when you hit a button instead of just a little bit? I'm not sure what that kind of mod would even be called. Saw someone in Canada who had it on their Camaro but forgot to ask about it. Sorry if this is a stupid question. Any info would be helpful, thanks.

Maybe stronger springs in the 2 push-off pins under the trunk lid. You just need enough momentum to get over the hump of maximum shock rod extension. The the shock rods will take over and raise it the rest of the way. The push off pins unscrew easily. Maybe they make some for bigger cars with heavier lids.

Theres an electric kit that replaces the shocks...similar to a power window set up....has stop switches to limit travel.
I think its in J.C.Whitney are one of the hot rod mags.

It was nice meeting some new members yesterday in Little York as well as hanging out with others I have already met. Sorry I had to leave towards the end I really hate having to work weekends, hope someone got lucky with a trophy; if not either way still had fun.

Ripcard has a carbon fiber trunk lid, you DO NOT want your face any where near the trunk when he hits the button it opens so fast!
