Don't mean to be a pain but everyone is saying cat back but I still can't get over the fact of how good the axle sounds and for 400 bucks less and No real big horse power difference between the too, the axle seems like the better pick....
JUICED1 what do you think??? |

The combo of SOLO highflow cats and MACHX catback does drone on the LS3. For this reason I'd recommend going with the J pipe option, while you are at it. The good news is it only takes a few minutes remove the J pipes, if you want to hear the drone again.

I've got the Solo J-pipe axle backs on my auto L99. My stock exhaust is in my storage
shed in case I want to put them back if I trade in my SS- Try that with the cat backs. Also, the axle backs sound just as good, no drone and are less expensive.

How do you mean? With my cat back its very simple to return to stock...I thought with the axle back you had to cut the OEM pipes? |

You are right. You do have to cut up the stock exhaust to install the axleback.

It was ninety nine cents!

How about this:
Solo Axleback + a resonated X pipe? Wouldn't the xpipe kill any potential drone? Probably would save a few hundo. All that being said bro, get the catback.

The solo catback is still pretty quiet. It needs the high flows. Before high flows mine was very lackluster. The combo of solo high flows and catback are awesome. I need to order my damn j-pipes though.

They are cut but I was only refering to storage. I have my stock axle backs stored in my shed after I brought them home from the muffler shop in the trunk of my old Impala. If I did get the cats home I have no idea where I would store them.
