I love the pops, when I drive down a busy road with pedestrians on the sidewalk I see them jump back, they probably think its a drive by shooting

I seem to be the only person on C5 that doesnt like it, I feel like most people think the car is backfiring, and I like a smoother exhaust sound, and even a lopey cammed sound, but a goofy burble/pop noise doesnt fit in there IMO.

The pop is all in the decel fueling. In the OE cal, the fuel is cut on decel and that last little bit is way too lean to combust in the chamber, so it goes out the exhaust and pops when it hits oxygen. Tune the engine properly and there will be no raw fuel in the exhaust to pop. |

So what's the trick? I know u guys say I should hear it but I really don't. Got the MRT 1 on the v6 and am craving to hear the pops. It is an auto. I have tried everything. Do u guys use tap shift to down shift of just decelerate fast with no brakes? Helppp

yeah I have the L99 with X pipe and borla touring axle back, the start up is great and only hear a bit of popping after a long drive..however never hear it when ever I decel..thinking about changing my exhaust and adding the hennessy intake

Will my L99 pop if I get the solo-performance axle back with j-pipes? Mine doesn't do it right now. I already have CAI's air intake installed.

I have the 2LT with the V6 and MRT V2 exhaust and I have the pop and yes you can hear it with the windows down or up
