May I ask why you didn't do the jre posi mod while it was out? I did with mine just because it was already out. Unlike you I haven't had the nerve to punch mine yet. 350 miles and a fluid change to go before I do that.

When I asked Unitrax about it they told me it would be a waste of money. Beat on those gears! If you've done a few heat cycles then your good to go!

How many miles did they say you had to go? Never heard of putting miles on the gears before you use them, Ever seen a drag car on the hwy trying to put 500 miles on his gears before he takes it to the track? Few good heat cycles then give them hell, if they fail it was going to happen either way..

Awesome! So what rpm's are you turning in 6th at 70mph? Mine is right around 1950rpm with the 4.10s.

I'm not sure right now. JRE is sending my tune tomorrow. Because of work, I likely won't know until this weekend. Wow is 1st gear short! This is a great mod.....this cars moves on the low end now!

Btw, I just notice my typo. I didn't have the cradle bushings installed, but rather the differential bushings......not sure what I was thinking. $150 for those....

I had some time to upload the tune. At 70 mph I'm at about 1800-1850 . At 75 I'm right at 2k.

Just got got off the phone with Devin and he sounds like a very knowledgeable person.

I think I am going to go the same route you did LPE 3.91 from Ted and then head down to Unitrax. Thanks for posting your experience.

Are you happy with your freeway RPM. It sounds like you hardly notice once you reach 6 th.

I am VERY happy with the gears. It is such a different car now. Like Matt said, 6th gear is now usable. 3.91, 4.10, or 4.11 gears are a must for M6 Camaros. One more thing, since your differential will be out, order the differential bushings and have them install them. Jose will likely do your install, he is their resident Camaro expert.

Initially, your speedo will be WAY off. Ted got right back to me with the tunes. I can't say it enough.....this car feels different with gears. I love it!
