hud install

Is there anyway I can get a kit and install in Nor Cal area.I'm not really trying to experiment on my dash. I'd rather have it done by someone who's done it already.

Are these fairly accurate representations of how the "ghosted" look is? I'm a little concerned about spending all that time to install the HUD and have it be too blury because of the windshield.

Also, has anyone with a 2010 upgrade to a 2011+ windshield. If so, did it make a big differnce in the clarity and brightness of the display?

If you get the 2011 windshield for a HUD car then it will be as good as from GM, some one did but dont remember who, and no that pic is not epresentations of how the ghosting looks on the car, its there but not to the degree in the pics.

Doesn't look at all like that, I've had 2011 owners look at mine and they say it looks pretty much the same. I'll be at the Wounded Warriors Car Show at Bruce Lowrie on Oct 6 if you want to come by and take a look.

Do all 2011's have the same windshield (1LT/1SS vs 2LT/2SS)? I have a 2011 1LT and wondered if it has same windshield as a 2011 factory equipped with HUD.

There are many different windshields for the Camaro, the HUD version is surely different with wedge PVB (that's the inner layer) as well as a special bend for the image to display properly....

With no HUD in 2010 you will need to buy a 2011 version.... I believe they are interchangible.... With some possible frit differences....

So, ensure you buy a HUD version or the ghosting is a guarantee...

I have a 2011 1LT already and am going to do HUD, but wondered if a 2011 1LT has the same windshield as a 2011 2LT. Would think so but thought maybe someone here knew for sure.
