how should i go about installing this?

I posted a thread similar to this earlier today, but I did it in the wrong category so I apologize ahead of time for the repost! So I have been looking at changing my auto shift knob to a leather shift boot for a while now, because i think the stock shift plate looks cheap. So I found a really nice auto leather shift boot on ebay for a great price, and it came in the mail today! It looks awesome, but the only problem is, I was under the impression by boot came with the bracket I need to install it, and it doesn't (which is probably my fault for assuming it did) anyways, I really like the boot, but I don't know how to go about installing it. do i HAVE to have the bracket that you screw into the center console? If so, where do I get that? I've been trying to find the part #, but I've had no luck. Or if any of y'all have any ideas on other installation methods, I am up for any idea! Thanks, and any help is appreciated!

I was told it was a shift boot, but who knows. I feel like its too big to be a ebrake boot

It may be a good thing you can't install it. Looks to me the boot stitching is white where the stitching on the console and seats is blue. If so I wouldn't install it if it don't match.

That just looks like he took a dye pen to the stitching to change the color he could do it the shift boot if it is what i think it is.

Got it installed!

So i got the boot installed! It looks awesome, I am very very happy with the way it turned out. The install was very easy, just a little difficult to figure out a way to mount it since it didn't come with any type of mounting bracket, but once I figured that out, it just a matter of taking a part and then putting everything back together!
