For me is just upsetting that cars that were built early and then QC Held were in a Black Hole. Further seeing 30 or 40 IOM's Maro's in a parade in Texas just about put me over the edge. While the loyal waited for there cars.

Are you on drugs?

Seriously!

GM is still in business ONLY because the feds have pumped $30 billion into it.

GM has more than $170 billion in debt.

Hummer, Saab and Saturn are being sold. Pontiac is being closed.

Thousands of dealers are being shut down.

What was once the most powerful corporation in the free world is now a ward of the federal government and it has only itself to blame for decades of bad decisions and business practices too numerous to list.

Right now, GM needs every customer it can get and every piece of favorable press it can get.

That's the reality.

Drinking the Camaro Cool-Aid won't change that.

Customers are the lifeblood of any and every business.

GM needs them, the same as the local 7-11 or gas station does.

To suggest otherwise is flat ignorant and flat wrong.

I'm GM for life, but the way this pre order has been handled by GM is broke. I hope GM learned from this and will be better from now on. Hope they will also learn that not everyone who wants leather interior wants glowing doorpanels. Ambient lighting should not bet tied in with a package, but a option by itself.

THE SAD FACT IS, GM THINKS LIKE YOU
1.THEY THINK THEY DON'T NEED THE COUSTOMER.
2.THEY THINK THE COUSTOMER OWES THEM.
3.THEY THINK THEY DON'T HAVE TO TREAT THE COUSTOMER BETTER.

I would like the customer service and/ or the customer relations answer.......what was the quality control problem that has been going on and the full explaination. Why hasn't my R6P order haven't been delivered. I'm sorry folks but I ordered Oct 14th and got a high vin# 10082.

Customers are getting Camaro's with 12000+ vin numbers what is going on.....my Dealer said it is Chevy's doing.

While I'm at it......I would like to get the care package with the correct spelling of my name on the art work. I have asked three times for it!! All I get is customer service....blaming customer relations and now blaming my salesman, that I have known for 40 years. He knows how to spell my name.

There are many mistakes that have been made...buying the Camaro isn't one of them. Paying above MSRP and being treated this way is only the first one that comes to mind!!

I would like to thank Chevy for their help in advance!

Sincerely,

Carl

I pre-ordered a Camaro from GM on 10/15/2008, which was the 3rd day of pre-ordering. I still don't have my car, which is fine. Waiting is not the main problem. The main problem is that many, many other people who did not pre-order but ordered as late as 05/2009 have already received their Camaros while I continue to wait for mine. This is not ok. I will never, ever pre-order another car, especially from GM.

I believe the whole pre-order process was a shame.

I respectfully disagree, with out drastic changes in the way they do business..they might survive about another 5 years on the tax payers dime. As far as reality checks go, I would hope that having to file for Chapter 11 would and should be a big enough reality check for everyone within GM, from the Board of Directors right on down. One can only hope that they come to the realization that "doing things the way we always have" is what got them into this mess. The reality is GM doesn't exist without customers...so ya I'd say GM does need them. I think we have already seen the consumer speak, dare I say scream loud and clear considering GM's drop in market share in the last 10 years.

It all comes down to the consumer and who they choose to spend their hard earned money with and what they expect in return for their money. Isn't capitalism great...I get to choose who gets my money and what product I buy!
