The demands about not having a reman'd part is over the top. It'll be fine and the warranty will back the reman'd part too.

IMHO if your old enough to buy a new car your old enough to get a loaner

I think it has something to do with insurance.

OK so the hood was popped at the time of the failure, and now the body panels aren't lining up?

Something smells fishy here

What about the transmission cooler? I wold say that should be replaced and the lines to if the tranny failed that badly.

So if back in 09 when the camaro first came out your tranny broke, you would get a reman?

Where would they get the core from? Or does this mean that is was screwed up the first time down the line so it got rebuilt and sold as a reman?

And having a SRTA will have no effect on the cars value

As far as the rental,we use Enterprise at our dealership, and they won't rent to anyone under 25.
Beat me to it...

Wasn't the 6L80E used prior to 09'?

No i did not hit anything. What i said is true, if i hit something id say it, im paying for it anyway. The hood was not completely open, just as if I hit the hood release, it was still latched but opened. and yes the panels are not alligned. Idk why that is so hard to believe. the hood and passenger fender are off by about 1/2 inch. ill post a picture.

I'm just saying that's really odd. I didn't say you hit anything.

They may have the nose loose to replace the radiator/trans cooler. That is the only reason I would see that being like that.

Hope it is as good as new shortly.

why are you worrying about it before it's been fixed? Geez man, at least let them finish it before you complain about the work.

This is possible, I would suppose. I didn't realize that your hood was still latched.
