Guys and Gals

The Auto will not break lose. I will tell you this because I was dissapointed it would not and wrote Fbodfather and John F. They sent me to Cheryl and she said the car was designed to stick and go and not to sit there and spin.

So to spin the tires you must power brake the car, or buy cheaper tires they told me. The P-Zero's will not spin. They told me sticks where doing burn outs but they are dropping the clutch from 2000RPM or greater to do it.

I am at 1500 miles and changed the oil and on a newly paved smooth road I have broken it loose and it chiped even hitting second. But you are not lose for very long.

Cheryl's final comment to me was, would I like to sit there and spin againts a Mustang or hook up and kick its ass? Camaro designed to kick its ass.

Easily doable with the traction control off. You shouln't be having any more difficulty than holding your right foot to the floor, with your left foot holding the brake.

I've done it and I know it works...............LS3 annnnd L99..................that's all I'm going to say about that.

But if you think you can do a right foot only burn out....................not so much.

Wait until it's broken in. If you can't wait, lay some water down for the hell of it. You'll have plenty of good ones in the future try a powerbreak if you're so inclined, also.

1) Turn off the TC.
2) Put your left foot on the brake pedal with just enough pressure to hold the car still.
3) Put your right foot on the gas pedal and push it all the way to the floor.
4) Watch the tires burn off!

Great answer! Making smoke might be sort of fun, but taking off is where it's at. Spinning tire means poor traction for the amount of HP you're putting down. This thing was designed to go go GO!

I have the v6, and on asphalt with traction control off, at dead stop, flooring it will not even squeak. Not even a tiny bit. I am not powerbreaking, I did that with another car and threw out the transmission.

haven't tried it on smooth concrete yet, it was sort of an impulse at the time.

Always nice to leave 'em in their own smoke, but one just has to smoke a nice smoke screen from time to time....for the fun of it. Yes, it's for show, but let's be honest here......you know your friends are going to want to see you do it!! I don't care if you are 16, 47, or wringled past your days... the friends are going to want to see the smoke! Besides, your friends aren't paying for the rubber.....you are! Smoke 'em!

Line lock FTW. LS engines need at least 5k miles to break in. I remember when I first got mine its like it picked up 50 hp at 7k miles. Many 4th Gen Fbody'd guys reported the same thing with their autos when they first got them.
