ZL1 help, not 2SS
so a certain dealer has four ZL1's in about two hours from my area and two of them are white. Do you think the chances are good that my local dealer could make a deal and get one of the white ones moved to them?

I don't think so , for the ZL1 the dealers do not like to do much about , except to ask up and over 10k above MSRP. Why don't you just go there and deal with it right there ?

You're gonna go from an LT to a ZL-1? That's badass SoCal..!!! I went and looked at a black-on-black today. Not sure what the dealers can do about swaps for the ZL-1's. Why not just take the two hour drive, as sort of a long kiss goodbye with you Camaro you have now?

Well reason being that I know the owner of the local dealer and he's willing to give me a sweet deal...and the other dealer is 8K over MSRP. I know I might seem cheap haha but saving about 9 to 10K through my local dealer would be great

Black-on-black is just the ultimate. I'm in consultations with my finical adviser (wife). LoL, and right now she's receptive...but not committed. So, this could take a bit.
