Hey guys i'm finally back in town for hopefully longer than a week. I won't be able to make it to Hudsons tonight, but look forward to seeing you all soon. BTW it was raining pretty good when I left the airport and on the way home so be safe out there.

Nice looking wheels. Where did you buy them from? What wheels were previously on your car?

Car came with 20x8 in front and 20x9 in rear. I stepped it up to 20x9 in front and 20x11 in rear.

I moved in to the area a couple of months ago and I've been going to El Paso Motorplex almost every Friday. I have a blue C5 Z06 and I've talked to a couple of Camaro guys and ran a few others. From here I recognize cid067 (I'm terrible with names); I'm glad you got the oil pressure deal sorted out.

I come from Hawaii and we had a really active group that came out to play on the weekends. There was a pretty big GTO/Camaro/Corvette group, but we didn't even have a drag strip out there. I'd like to start coming out to the gtg and meet a few of you and maybe join you on the cruises.

The 7th gen corvette comes out in 2014. I'm curious to know what it will look like, both outside and inside. I really like the 6th gen corvette, but not ready to buy yet.:( I think the 6th gen camaro comes out in 2015.

Spent all day today (Sunday) waxing my camaro. (8AM to 5PM) I'm exhausted. It looks pretty good though.

Welcome to C5 and to the EP/LC thread!! Now, first things first, let's see pics of your car!!!

Next, hopefully you can make it to some of our events. We are meeting this Thursday to do our monthly meet and greet at Hooters. Hope you can make it to that one. I have a co-worker with a Corvette that I am trying to get to come out with us. Hope to see you there!!!

6th Gen Camaros won't be coming out until 2014 for the 2015 model year run. This will give the C7 Corvettes 2 years to gain ground and establish themselves in the GM performance ground until Chevrolet reshifts their focus back on the 6th Gen Camaros where rumors and sources are suggecting will be recieving the engines that are going into the C7s. On the topic of waxing your Camaro, it's recommended that you do not any type of products on your new car for about 1 month after you recieve it as the paint and clear coat still need the extra time to cure. Using waxes and polishes cane ruin the paint if you do it right off the bat.

Yeah there are some horror stories that have come out of it where folks have waxed their rides about each weekend for 2 months right as soon as they recieved their cars and the clear coat was coming off and the paint was getting ruined. Good thing for the warranty but still, don't be hoping that thing will cover it all.

Wow, that sux!! I believe I only washed mine at first cuz of course they ran it through the car wash at the dealership before they brought her out to me. Yeah, I didn't know. You live and you learn. I actually just had her waxed for the first time in over a year the Friday before our cruise. I know, I know!! I should do it more times a year being we live where we do. I would however through a quick polishing in there when I could.
