New Camaro Owner! - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Hey guys, just wanted to introduce myself to the forum. I am a brand new camaro owner, got my car last Saturday. Its a Black 2011 2SS. A buddy of mine, who is a camaro owner and member of the forum, told me about the condition known as Perma-Grin which seems to infect new Camaro owners, and over the past 2 days i can vouch that it is real, every time i start up my car i instantly grin ear to ear. Couldn't be happier to join the Chevy, Camaro, and Camaro5 families! I am in Tulsa and from which i understand has quite a few Camaro5 residents. Ill be sure to upload some pics later in the day! So Thanks guys, and I look forward to being a member!

Thanks for the quick responses! Being that my previous vehicle was a 3/4 ton Diesel, I am entirely new to LS motors, Camaros, and standards, so ill definitely be looking for tons of advice on this forum! Here is a list of planned mods, that i will probably be doing after i put another couple thousand miles on my car, I need to first get used to driving it as is! Haha.

Performance:
Header, Mids, Cats, Exhaust
CAI
TB
Tune

Suspension:
front and rear sway bars
Full suspension bushings
Subframe connectors & braces
1inch drop springs
Trailing Arms

Exterior:
Ground effects kit
Either powder coat, or possibly vinyl wrap or plasi dip my rims black. (havent decided what im going to do yet)
Demon Halos(White and Red) this is a another possible
de-badge everything except SS

Interior:
LEDs

This will be my daily driver, So im not looking for the 600HP Beast, and i hope i dont get that pesky Mod Bug that seems to drain all of our wallets haha. I will definiltley be looking for insight on alot of these mods as to where and who to purchase from and how to install! Thanks again everyone

You will find everything you need on here, most definitely!! There are a lot of sponsors on here as well. When it comes time, do a search on here to see everyones opinions about one brand versus another. It's great having the sponsors on here because they will assist you with anything you might need. Being from NM, everyone around here goes with Ivan from Southwest Speed. He is a great guy, and of course so are the others!! Good luck to you with the modding, and can't wait to see your car transform as you customize her!!

RGRCamaro, CONGRATS on the ride and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, dad's, wive's, husband's, girlfriend's and boyfriend's here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.
