For all those that are saying that the story is starting get corny

There are 9 or 10 Halo books that i'm going to assume that none of you guys read..

There's been two more episodes released of Forward unto Dawn, great live action series/movie! Still couple more episodes to go until Halo 4 release.

I'm so excited, I've been huge Halo fan ever since I first picked up CE right before Halo 2 release in 2004. My gamer tag is my screen name if anyone is down for some multiplayer.

I have Halo 4 LE preordered, UNSC controller, and collectors edition strategy guide for reading material when I'm at work lol

Live action episodes are pretty sweet. can't wait to get the game. After reach was somewhat of a letdown, more of because of the frustrations (read: armor lock ridiculousness), I'm hoping this gets back to the skill based action of halo 2.

I really never understood the armor lock complaint, it's really easy to beat someone that uses it. I use it all the time and it helps me greatly. But if someone knows how to actually counter it, I'm boned. Thankfully most people are derp when they encounter me, so I'm able to beat them pretty easily.

It's comical when a whole team uses it lol

It's not just armor-lock, it's all the other stupid add-on enhancements you can activate.

Halo CE was so perfect because of weapon balance. It was a beautiful masterpiece of FPS art. With Halo 2, some mistakes were made that tipped the balances around weapons. By the time Halo 3 rolled around, they threw weapon balance out the window to add enhancements and other flashy non-sense.

It would be nice if they got back to their core, and just made a great, well-balanced multiplayer FPS with substance over flash.

See, I love the evolution of gameplay personally. I know what you mean though, I'm not sure if you're aware of it, but the CE anniversary edition brings back CE gameplay with reach graphics. The game feels and plays identically to the original.

It's not the armor in theory, but how it is designed/lag that makes it BS.

lag: How many times have you punched a guy but it doesnt "count" because he's already started armor locking but you cant see it yet due to lag or connection delay?

Design flaws: you should not be able to turn your body while you're down.
You should not be able to go down 3 times (they may have corrected this, not sure)
When you get stuck, it shouldn't fly off, it should be under the armor lock (they fixed this for multi team only)

I know how to use it effectively, and I know how to beat it-- but you're right it is pretty damn funny when a whole team uses it.

Yea I hear ya. And yea, I do have the anniversary edition. It's funny, I barely played Reach but I dominate the anniversary maps cuz I know the, so well and how to utilize the right weapons.
