Found some undercoating pealing off my rear fenders so took it back to Ziebart to have them touch it up . dropped it off last night and the guy called saying it should sit one more day to let the coating stick better.
First i am always worried the guy will take her for a spin so i know my mileage,32318, And my driveway looks empty without it., Whats the longest any of you have had to go without your "baby" in your sight?

I have a video camera in my car, so if they do any of that, it's recorded...

I don't really care for driving the loaner that they provide though...

not this car, but my Chrysler was 7 months, and my Avalanche was 5 weeks..

both times I had rentals paid by warranty so I didn't care.

My 1993 Ford Probe GT was 17 months at the dealer after caught in a flash flood..

Only time my car has been worked on by someone other then me, my buddy and my dad was when I had the tires balanced. I watched the guy pull it around and into the bay, jack it up, take the tires off, balance them, put them back on and drive it back to the parking spot and then met him at the front desk to pay for it. So yes, I do hate it because there is too many a-holes in the world to trust anyone you don't know and even some you do.

I can't stand it, even when I can see them. Had an alignment done yesterday, and felt lost when I saw him take it for a spin to check the ride. He looked like he knew what he was doing though. My last car (and now winter car) has never been in the shop - never been driven by anyone else, and it's 10 years old.

yea my car was at the dealer for a bcm issue for about 3weeks

4 months! Not at dealers though, at a performance shop! Getting engine rebuilt due to seized oil pump!

Nothing worst than getting body work done, because that's where the biggest risk of damage lies. Not only that, but the repair might not even be to your liking. Luckily, the guys who did my VFN Sunoco hood didn't touch a thing.

Dealer took care of spoiler/ paint issue. I was a wreck for those 2 days. Ted Jannetty had my car for a week and it didn't phase me one bit.

I try to avoid letting other people work on my vehicles that are nice.

In the event of some warranty work, I just throw my hands in the air, expect the worst and it's a nice surprise if nothing gets screwed up.

And like others have said, it depends on who has it. My first Camaro was at the body shop I like to use for a week and I could care less. I hate when the dealer has it though, too many screw-ups around there.
