Guys, GeigerCars is the most well-known US-Import house in Germany, so they have their connections.
They also did the famous Geiger Ford GT with over 700 hp and Challanger SRT with over 569 hp. Pics: ![]() ![]()

Buying the car from a dealer means you will pay his garage, his taxes, his employees and his salary. I'll do it myself or will hire a guy who does that on demand: means no tax on his work, no garage (delivers right away), no employees (he's alone) ... I'll just pay import taxes and his salary. It's gonna be far less than that

GeigerCars is not the only dealer in Europe importing the Camaro. There are a few (a lot?) more. But I think GeigersCars is the first who has already Camaros on his lot (at least in German-speaking countries) - Other dealers only ordered so far or their Camaros are current on a container ship.
My Camaro will be here (in Austria) in august. BTW: I have lurked on this site for month but this is my first post. |

I agree, a very bad decision that GM has made since it would sell like hotcakes over there...

I counted at least 6 places they stuck their name - each door, front windshield, and 3(!!) on the rear end. Wouldn't surprise me if there's another on the rear window we just can't see.

Hell I would sell mine that for those prices. 2010 2ss/Rs IOM with interior and sunroof. I love the car but $70,000 is alot of money.

they would have to ramp up production to sell over there. And the price you see is probably 2-3k to ship the car and then tarrif fees.

At least, you pay 10% custom duty, and 19% so called "mehrwertsteuer", so you end up at least with 35-40k Dollars. But there are also prices for TÜV (you need to check the car if it´s allowed to be driven in germany) and so on. I think 40000 Dollars is okay, but 50000 Euros is way to much. However, I want one within the next years
