Does anyone have a Windows Phone connected to a 2010 via Bluetooth?
I can't seem to get it to read my incoming texts over bluetooth. All other bluetooth functions work properly including me dictating outgoing texts. Was wondering if anyone else had the same setup.
thanks. |

I have the 2013, but I have a WP7. It reads my texts just fine. The wife also has a 2012 Cruze and hers works fine as well. Do you have the settings on the phone right?
My settings are: Settings->speech->both boxes checked and the bottom "play audio confirmations" is on and bluetooth only is the read text messages aloud setting. |

I tried it with those settings and it still doesn't read the texts aloud. It must just be an issue with the 2010. There have been other things that didn't work after the Onstar bluetooth OTA upgrade that happened recently so it's probably just that.
thanks anyway. |

Hrm, also make sure you have the settings in "Ease of Access" on, specifically "Speech for phone accessibility" or it won't work either.
