I believe it has been posted before from members that live on the islands that they pay much more for an SS there than we do in the 48 states.
Would any of us really be shocked to find out that some "smart" exec came up with the plan to rebadge cheaper versions in an expensive market where 90% of the renters won't have a clue what they are really renting to save/earn more money for the company? Sounds like good ole american corporate greed to me and if you get caught just act dumb.

Everyone who wishes to "sue"........you have to sue for damages......and what are the damages......besides paying for extra for the SS and not the regular V6 rental.
Tough call getting a judge to award damages for not feeling the rush of a V8. You would have to pray he owned a V6 and knew the disgrace of it all in Camaro World where V8's are available but somehow you still picked a V6..........now you know where the saying came from "Gee I could've had a V8".......(all sarcasm, been drinking). |

2002 V6 owner here. Cant be choosy when its a gift, it does look pretty though. Next car (2013 or 14 version) will be a SS or ZL1, just have to buy a house first and I can get one of the two so says the wife. Least she says so now! |
