That s the closest rendering yes.

So far two engines, Turbo 4 at over 300hp and the 5.0L V8 at 500hp. It will be out in April 2014 as a 2015 model.

I like the green render there, but not so much the red images of one I have seen.

Everything is returning to the 80s, 4cyl turbos and 5.0s.. maybe camaro will get a new IROC? lol

Its definitely sharp. I salute Ford for breaking the trend and moving forward.

Hopefully they don't change the Raptor too much though...I'd like to get one next

Though....adjusting the 6.2L in it to get a little more than 10mpg would be nice. EcoBoost in the future perhaps?

Depends on the application.

If they can make a 10mpg average up to 16mpg, where is the cross over point to where it pays off for that extra 40 cents per gallon?

Also, higher oil change costs. I'd have to ask my dad about his maintenance bills to keep his F250 Diesel running.

I'm ok with a gas motor if you're not towing and have the need.

Well In my opinion, its a performance truck, like the SRT/Lighting, why would I worry about gas mileage? I would be off road and using that suspension anytime I saw a fitting area to do so.
Buy a v6 and swap the front end to look like a raptor, throw a suspension lift, probably cheaper and I am sure someone has pulled it off lol
Raptors my #1 vehicle I could get and wanted to get before I got the Camaro, but to much $$. I am probably a ford truck guy before anything else I were to declare "loyalty" to a brand/type, my dad has had 2 F450 and 2 Ram 3500's, all turbo diesels, and can get those trucks to 15mpgs fairly easy depending on driving styles as with anything, now his current F450 pulling a fullsize 5th wheel camper trailer averages under 10 mpg, but otherwise its over that. Anyway, I'll sell a kidney to cover gas costs for the remaining of my days lol

I want mine in BLUE and without the graphics, or white

Why? Because you should be able to have your cake and eat it too. That argument is quite questionable, especially with a company like Ford who is trying to add MPG anywhere they can get it.

They aren't that much, only came out about 6K more than I paid for the Camaro.

That seems low. My father's '99 F250 Diesel would average 15mpg pulling a 32' race car trailer with 1-2 race cars inside.

I really like the blue, but I would go gunmetal.

If Ford doesn't change something drastically, I will probably look into one since Kayla will have a small sedan and I'll have a coupe, so gotta have something to act as a utility vehicle.

Raptor is a specialty vehicle and does not appeal to the MPG enthusiasts. It's the tall tires and gearing in the Raptor that make it not get the best of mileage. Ford does not care about sacrificing performance for mileage in ther SVT line up. That is not what the dvision is for.

Like the trinity 5.8 that is found n the 2013 GT500, the 6.2L 2v in the Raptor will most likely be replaced with some form of forced induction ecoboost v8 motor.

There have been people who are finally speaking due to the market survey NDAs expiring saying Ford has a TT 5.0L Ecoboost turning out 700hp, which may find its way under the hood of the next gen GT500 and Raptor. A lot of this stuff has been coming under the veil of secrecy over the past few days.

With the Raptor variant most likely being detuned for lower end torque.

Oh I'm fine with that. But cant hate someone for hoping for a few more mpg out of it.
