I actually drove around in a purple Caravan for a weekend when I worked at Saturn; they let me borrow it when I wrecked a Cougar I had at the time (see, another non-GM product that I owned!). I picked Jen up in it when we were dating -- it then puked coolant out and I limped it back to the shop. They gave me a 2G Eclipse RS after that.

Ahhhh memories...


edit: Thinking about that moment, I realize that I'd rather have been driving the minivan because at least a purple minivan sucks and people must know that I hate driving it. On the other hand, driving an Eclipse sucks worse because people know it sucks but also think you, as the "owner" think it's awesome. Not that driving around in a Cougar was awesome, though
