And using the U.S. population density is flawed logic. The distribution of Camaros across the U.S. doesn't correlate with the distribution of people across the U.S.

We've gone over this fact before.

More Camaros are sold in Texas and California than any other state in the Union. If the Camaro distribution really did follow the U.S. population distribution, then more Camaros would be sold in New York alone than anywhere else.

But, to humor your requests, here are a few more maps for you to take a look at...

Map 1: Virginia International Raceway (Zip Code 24520) with a 1,200 mile radius. Again, you've got almost half the circle in the Ocean.

Map 2: Royal Purple Raceway in Houston (Zip Code 77523) with a 1,200 mile radius around Houston, since it keeps getting brought up. I'm sure all the shrimp and oil reserves in the Gulf will be happy they can attend Camaro5Fest

Map 3: Gateway Motorsports Park in St. Louis (Zip Code 62201) because someone mentioned St. Louis and I figured I would go ahead and map it.

Gateway actually makes a lot of sense, the problem there, though, is the track looks kind of small and there's not many hotels nearby that could room the number of people Camaro5 expects to pull in for the next Fest, even if that number remained the same as for C5F3.
Great visuals!

Not trying to be biased at all but as Director of Special Events for Adam's I spend a lot of time at shows and I would vote Colorado!

I just moved from Texas about a week ago as you can see from my plates. I think the crowd would appreciate the beautiful scenery as well as the weather. Texas is great but it is HOT and humid during the summer and the weather can be somewhat unpredictable, especially during hurricane season. I know when I am working a show it is much more fun if the climate is enjoyable.
Where's a good motorsports park in Colorado that can fit the 1320, autocross pad, and has room for vendor alley and parking for 700+ and is close to a hotel or cluster of hotels with enough room for 1,000+ people? If there is one, I have no problem mapping it. I would LOVE to roadtrip to Colorado

I do not like the road race track but they do have one plus a large pad for auto cross and a 1/4 drag strip and a small oval dirt track plus enough hotels that SCCA has had the Run Offs and Solo II Championships there. It would be about the middle of the geographic country. Heartland Park in Topeka Kansas. Set up your circle around that location.

Here's one for Heartland Park of Topeka.

It doesn't look much different at this scale, but it's roughly 320 miles west of Gateway Motorsports Park that I posted earlier.

I believe the problem with this track is the location of the nearest big hotels is pretty spread out...

The track itself looks pretty awesome. Not much else to do in Kansas, though, is there?

Im not even sure where the Hotels are in Topeka besides a couple Hotel 8's Iv seen but the track its self isn't too far away from town. Not as close as Indianapolis was but not bad either.

The one actual event I went to there the track was pretty decent in terms of track prep and had good traction. A lot of parking space for Vendors and a car show as well. And im sure we could easily find a good place for the autocross. Really besides being in BFE, Kansas its an ideal venue. But since its in BFE, like you said is the hotels. And no, not much in Kansas at all.

If I remember correctly the SCCA Run Offs would generally have 700 to 900 competitors and The SCCA Solo II would have about the same and there was enough rooms to cover all of the competitors and there crew for those events. SCCA had the Run Offs there for 3 years in a row. The first year we stayed at a Hyatt about 15 Min's from the track it was west of town. The other 2 years we stayed at an Extended Stay.
We were always able to get good food and the rooms were reasonable.
But like I said although the Road Race track was very smooth I didn't care for it mush. I didn't find it very challenging. One of the years they had a Dirt track motor cycle race and one year they had the drag race show Pinks tapping during the week we would be there.

Believe me I am not suggesting Heartland Park. I am just letting you know it is geographically about as centered as you can get. And it has most of what you are looking for.
