While I was taking a rest after washing my car, I noticed this image on the back of my car. Thought it was kinda neet and fitting as it is behind, most likely a trend. My Son just did not see the humor!

Max what brand of tint did you use and how much did you pay? I've been thinking about doing a little lighter tint. How's the visibility with the 5%?

I am not sure on the brand of tint, I took it to a local tint shop and they did it for $140. We compared the 20% tint and the 5%, the 5% just made the car. Also with the 20% the light color interior still showed up. The bigger decision was on the strip at the top of the windshield. To make it look right you need to align the tint with the bottom of the black behind the mirror. At first I thought this would be too low, I am 5' 9' and it is fine for me. The visability seems OK, but we have tint on all of our cars so it seemed normal for me.

I was just thinking that if you could find tint to match the CGM it would look totally awsome. Somebody just has to make it, it would be perfect on a CGM car.

CGM tint would be sweet but I'm thinking 5% tint with black wheels and black stripes.

That's what im gonna try to do also, find a tint that's got some dark grey in it, instead of black!

I picked up the car yesterday and made the nearly 500 mile trip back home and I can tell all of you still waiting, this car is amazing and worth every second of the wait. I cant tell you how many people would stop and just gawk over the car whenever we would stop for a break or get gas or something, people just flock to this car.

The only hickup I had with the car was when it was first being delivered. When they were doing the final detailing they noticed a tiny defect on a small area of the front bumper (it looked as if something had dug itself into the clear) anyways they tried wet sanding it, but ultimatley decided to strip the one section and repaint it. The job they did was fantastic, I cannot even tell and I kno exactly where the issue was, and the car looks great!!! We only had to wait a few hours, and lunch was on the dealership, so no biggie...

While we were waiting for the car to be finished my father and I decided to go test drive a 2010 mustang, just to see what all the fuss was about. I'm not being biased when I say this, but that car stands no chance against these Camaro's. The mustang only wants to go in a straight line, the handling in my opinion was horrible, the rear end just felt as if it wanted to swing out whenever you took it into a turn. But I can tell you we beat the piss out of that thing (it just came off the transport too lol) and it can light the tires up pretty nice haha.

Ok enough babbling, I know you guys are going to tell me this is worthless without pics but its raining here today so I cant even wash it, hopefully it will be nice tomorrow...

Glad you enjoyed yourself and that Basil took care of you through the ordeal. Just wait until you're in regular traffic at home. You'll be amazed how many times you'll be rolling down the windows and talking to the guys/gals in the car(s) next to you. Be ready for the beeps from the cars behind you as you realize all the cars in front of you are 1/4 mile down the street and you're still sitting there talking out the window...
