Switchback turn signals

I have a 2010 RS Camaro. I purchased a set of switchback turn signals. Once install I could only get the amber turn signals to flash but the driving lights never turned on. I also have load resistors but I'm unsure on how to install them. Can anyone offer assistance or suggestions?

The halos are your driving lights. RS Camaro's dont have those "yellow/amber" ones lit up, they're only signal lights.

Gelboy is correct. The front turn signals on the RS only work a single filament. You may notice, when you plug the bulb in, theres only two wires coming out of the socket. While driving, they're not on and only flash when signaling. The non RS models use both filaments and are on while driving. Do you know if the ones you saw were RS models? If they were, then they were probably modified. You'd have to run a wire from a running light (halos or side markers) and somehow connect it to the bulb contact that runs the white LEDs.

Unless you are trying these on the tail lights. In which case, I think they should work but the colors may look weird coming out of a red lens.

Thanks. I just took a second look at the videos I saw and none of the Camaros were RS models. I didn't notice that before. I will modify them to run with the side markers. Thanks for the advice!

Did you read the first 7 posts in this thread? I think #4 and #5 will point you in the right direction...
