sure...

1. dealer SM and tech abused a car by doing burnouts and hard launchs.

2. burned up the clutch, then talked about how to double dip to make the customer and GM warranty pay them twice for the job by splitting the work order into multiple parts

3. customer recorded all this with a audio recording device in the door pocket of the car

4. customer approaches dealership with recording and is told to f- off, customer calls GM and is told not their problem between customer and dealership.

5. customer posts it on youtube and a couple of forums..

6. internet blows up and every car and starving for real news site picks up the story

7. dealership asks customer to pull the video down so they can talk out a deal

8. customer pulls it down for about 2 hours during which time the dealership slaps customer with some legal paperwork and a lawsuit

9. customer puts it back up, and it blows up further and GM gets semi-involved, more news sites pick it up and the dealership owner goes fishing..

10. every internet tough guy and keyboard lawyer posts their 2 cents and millions of people become official authorities on all laws related to an incident in which all they heard was about 5 minutes of edited video..

hows that?

Really guy? Drop the attitude down a few and don't be so disrespectful this is not that kind of forum.

couple of highlights missing here..... (these are Will's posts taken from YouTube)

1.A Positive outcome is in the works. They've agreed to buy the car back.

2.I'm going to be at Best Chevrolet in Easley South Carolina today 10-10-2012 at 11 o'clock am. Thank you ALL for your SUPPORT! The outcry on behalf of consumers across the Nation was overwhelming to say the least. I love Chevrolet cars and trucks. I did not want to change brands.

3.I'll be driving down 85S from Greenville if you see me on the highway honk your horn and flip me off (or not) :-) lol . I'll be the plain white guy, In a plain white Camaro with a plain 'ol good dog.

I think the site (C5) escalated concern for this guy honestly. I mean they even linked the OP in Yahoo's page. I feel like, as a whole, we helped bring it to light.

Congrats C5, justice is being served.

While I cringe at the behavior of the dealer's service techs, it's disappointing that the OP (Will) never came back to the forum and updated us on his situation. I mean, wasn't this one of the forums that started it all for him? Having us resort to a YouTube comment... :S
