Well you could have just had the cams metalized increase lob height stay with current LSA & overlap, upgrade your springs and take an old head casting and build yourself a notching tool. You need to know what your doing but would have saved time & $. Have a nice day.

Unfortunately, this would produce a one off solution which would not provide the desired results we are looking for. LSA and overlap are being adjusted for very specific reasons.

If you've got a different approach, you might spin up a set in your shop and produce a competitive product. Nothing wrong with competition - this is what it's all about.

Hi Jarp!! Still waiting. Matt said when the Fedex truck shows up everyone in the shop stops and looks for the box. LOL. He said tech are asking "when are we going to do the cams??"

just checked on Bathurst - college football on everything ESPN. May have to stream it over the iPhone. If they are in Texas, I'll figure out how to score some tickets

Race start in about 2hrs. Maybe next week for the fit?! It's been interesting driving around with the cams in....love the sound but vacuum issues make low speed activities a bit tricky and instant throttle response is ordinary. Would love to have had a crack at that tune while waiting for things to progress but sadly no tune was forthcoming for me. The potential though is a tad mouth watering particularly up the top end even without a tune. Here is hoping it all comes together soon.

Ya the guys are getting pretty itchy to get these cams done.. At least our brand new MD-150 eddy load control dyno should be in the building soon enough .. I think your car may be one of the first on it at this rate haha!

So I was looking into turbo or SC for sometime in the future and stumbled across this in search for NA mods that would still work after FI and this is quite the game changer. Looks like after this is done the car will be a beast. But I'm still learning a lot about cars, what exactly does this mod do? Allow for a higher overlap between the valve timing? (I hope said what I meant to, lol).

It is patiently waiting under a cover for some cams to arrive!
