Nice truck. Only thing I would have done differently would have been to have bought the 2500 with a Duramax.

If you want to avoid spending a lot of money and have no immediate plans for big tires then get the leveling kit. More aggresive stance and cheap.

If you want to go nuts with the truck (bigger wheels, tires, etc) and have a serious lift height then go with a suspension lift. Body lifts are not that great by themselves, but sometimes coincide with a large suspension life.

From what I am gatthering, a leveling kit would be your best best. When its time for new tires it will allow for a slightly larger size, will look better, and be much less expensive than a suspension lift and new tires & rims. Not to mention you will still be getting gas mileage that will not make you cry at the pump

I recently added some 275 bfg all terrains. My milage took a bit of a hit with the larger and heavier tires

Got a hell of a deal on it. I will still be on the forums, met so many great people through here and gained so much knowledge..

Anyone else have a Silverado?

Sweet truck! I also have a Silverado with almost 300,000 miles. You should get the body color grille. It looks great on the new trucks!

Thanks! As of now, I would have to say the sound. This is my first V8. Could you possibly point me in the best direction of a website selling GM parts? Preferablly on the cheaper side lol

I believe the Boday color grill is 300 bucks on some websites and that seems pricey for something that should be standard on certain models. Oh well maybe on the newer designed trucks that are comming out next year it will happen.

Yeah the LTZ does come with it. I bought the LT... i like the chrome bumper but it would be easier to do the "blacked out" look if my front end was black
