Adam Has the CAI Inc. and muffler delete. Lowered the car probably helped his 60' with a proper alignment as well.

Congrats buD! I might have to just give you my car and let you race I suck.

I would go with a set of 18's versus the 20's. There isn't enough side wall on the 20's to get a good launch with your kind of power. With that suggested, I like the Mickey Thompson ET Street Drag Radials.

Edit: You may want to consider upgrading your axles and clutch if you haven't already. Especially if you plan on getting a good set of sticky tires.

I need some mechanical advice.

my lawn hasn't been mowed in 4 months and I know I need to cut it before winter. The reason it hasn't been mowed is because I can't get my lawn mower hub off.

I bought a hub puller and managed to sheer off the bottom half of the pulley (bottom of the picture). It took a huge breaker bar and an extension to put enough pressure on it to do so. I've deformed the top pulley trying to get it off, but can't get the hub puller attached. I decided to try a cut off tool, and I couldn't seem to quite break off the bottom section of the pulley without destroying the output shaft.

I was able to buy a replacement hub. I thought about torching it to see if its soldered or something, but I was afraid it was too risky, plus I can't see any evidence of solder- normally you'd have some slight bleed to suggest its been soldered. I also looked into replacing the drive shaft, but I think I'd rather buy a new engine than rebuild it since I can't seem to find any rebuild kits for this specific mower.

Any final ideas before I replace the engine/drop it on craigslist?

I really don't know who else to ask, plus I remember throughout the last 2 years there has been a lot of discussion about riding lawn mowers... doesnt kevin like fix and flip 'em???

But pulley pulling issues should be a fairly well established issue for cars too...

2010 Camaro SS modified extensively. I stretched the body to make it a 4 door, but I swapped in the 3.6L DI V6 for fuel economy. Then I picked up a corvette body around the V8. I also swapped the body for a C2 Z28. (In short I traded it for three cars, a Corvette Z06r, a C2 Camaro Z28, and a Cadillac CTS Summer Performance package 3.6L DI with Aisin 6spd.)

If you're local, I'll paint the fins to match your vehicle and reclear the entire piece. I can make this thing match anything....just gonna cost a few buck more for materials.

The Weld wheels work nicely with the above. The front tires are Pirellis

Man I would love to. Working on headers first though. Modding on a budget is rough

You could try a little heat on the pully. I had this issue once when I was a kid with a Dynamark lawn mower. I ended up having someone pry on the pully while I hit the crank shaft.

I wish you would sell me your wheels.

What are the sizes of your wheels and tires? I couldn't find much on Weld's site.

Yeah, Weld has no information on their site.

Bought them thru ECS: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=205234

Some good pics on here: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...ht=Weld+wheels

I went with the 18" setup they use on their 9 second car:

Weld Racing RT-S71 Style LW Street Rims:
- 18x8 Front Rims wrapped with Pirelli PZero 255/55/18 Tires
- 18x10.5 Rear Rims wrapped with Mickey Thompson 305/45/18 Street II Drag Radials

Unfortunately I didn't make 9's. Must be the tune.

There was a long wait, but heck, you've got several months till next season. I was going to offer you mine to try at Kilkare, but they're done for the year.

Anybody going to the LSX tomorrow in Indy? I'm headed over early in my pickup to spend the day shopping and haul back some parts.
