yup,,no cats has a different smell, but I prefer the slightly fuelly smell compared to sulfer dioxide.. but I try not to sniff the exhaust for the most part. The biggest thing to be ok with isn't the smell, its the extremely loud exhaust sound. I like it, but its really really really loud.

Just an update on my progress, I have now ordered the 10" damper/pulley/idler combo to go with the 2.38" upper I have. Anyone know what belt length to use? I only see listings for the 10" lower with the 2.55" upper.
Also in the next month or so I should be ordering my injectors which is the last part I need before installing my cam. Should be interesting. I'm not looking forward to the junk in the way of the pan etc as the op described, but it is what it is...

Oops. I thought the question was for 2012ZL1. Sorry bout not responding. My car is stock from cats back. It'll stay that way unless I go 3" in which case I'll go X pipe.

Not likely to change it though unless the performance really disappoints. Shooting for taking the car out Friday the 19th and see how it runs in the 1/4.

Got the drag radials ready to go, Line lock installed, and getting the race gas tune on the dyno this Wednesday morning. Hoping everything falls into place.

724HP and 677ft-lbs on pump gas!

Didn't do a race gas tune today as we ran out of time re-tuning for the Livernios dual fuel pump. Video and pictures will be uploaded tonight as I'm at work right now.

Even though we didn't do the race gas tune, I'm going to run the car at Firebird this Friday night and I'll share how that goes.

Right now real quick I want to thank Damon, Keith, and KDI and New Era, as well as the whole crew at Loud Pedal in Tempe, and David with Mast Motorsports in Texas. This car has really impressed me today and I'm loving it!

No problem. I was trying to decide to go with a full exhaust or just headers and cats. I opted for the 1 7/8" headers into 3 inch pipe and high flow headers with a full 3" Corsa catback exhaust. Getting it out of the shop today.

Blue is stock, Red is modified. This is an amazing combo!
