Hopefully more of a contest than last years 55-17 smack down. Ash seems to progressing and hopefully the OL can keep his jersey cleaner this year. Poor kid got pancaked over and over last year.

If Landry plays like he did in Lubbock we will be in good shape. Not sure we're going to able to stop the run though. As others have said, all bets are off when these two teams meet.

Not even true. Maybe Bama but the out of conference teams played LSU better than any other SEC teams other than Bama. Oregon, Stanford and a number of other teams would have beat LSU in the NCG in my opinion. So for Arkansas to barely beat teams like Vandy, Troy, a 2-9 Ole Miss and get two crazy TDs in the last 2 minutes to beat a bad A&M team on top of getting blown out twice is NOT a top 5 team. Not even close.

Right now, this year, LA Monroes schedule says they beat #8 Arkansas. The Arkansas that is 2-4 with losses to LA Monroe and Rutgers. (Don't worry, Rutgers will not finished ranked)

I'm not trying to pile on AR. They are one of the teams I like to see do well. I'm equally critical about Oklahoma. But much like OU they just seem to get way more credit that earned lately.

Well, let the fun start!!! It is that time of year again!! Pooner fans will come by car, truck, RV, bike, bus, and yes.....some will float their way here across the RR asking for directions to Big "D".

Whatever you do....don't look at their feet!!!

Let's all hope for cooler weather....so we don't have to see this!!!

Uh pq Oregon got thumped by LSU..40-27..Arkansas was explosive last year. They lost most of there receiving core. I'm a dawg fan not either one of these but LSU would have kicked the shit out of stanford and Oregon again. The atheletes in the sec are just on a different level like the atheletes back in the mid 2000 were better at USC..

Just like LSU beat Bama earlier.

LSU got worse at some point.

And The NON-SEC teams gave LSU and Bama more problems than SEC teams did. Averaged almost twice the points. The athletes aren't as far ahead as you think.

That is the only reason I like Oregon this year because they have a good d. Look at Oklahoma. They won championships when they had stout d. That is what LSU had last yr. and he's LSU lost to perhaps one of the best college team defense ever in alabama last year. I don't like any of these teams but it is a fact there teams are head and heels above ok st. Oregon will be only team to give bama a run for the money this year.

Too bad we'll never know. Bamas schedule is pretty easy this year. They'll be in the big game again playing someone with a big offense and we'll see what happens.
