Awww now it's sentimental... I miss the C5M brotherhood too. I'll just go wash & wax the Camaro in the driveway.

Guys, I'm bringing my car to a professional detailer tomorrow since this hood still needs a bit more wetsanding with 3000 grit and buffing (Angel and Dani know I'm still not 100% happy with it), but I need somebody to follow me up there and then we can like, hang out or something while we wait. It's up in Pembroke which isn't THAT bad. Thing is, not only is he wetsanding it, he's buffing out the sanding marks from the wetsanding and then polishing it with a DA to a flawless finish, so this is going to take time.

I know hanging out with me isn't the funnest thing to do...

But can someone PLEASE help me here? My girlfriend is babysitting and Dani's going to a concert. I have to be there by 11:30 a.m.

If I didn't have to work I would have loves to go to learn more. Detailing is a virus!!! How long do you think it will take?

I dunno, Angel. Took Kris 4 hours to get it from where it originally was to where it is now (according to him). If the detailer uses a DA to wetsand, that will speed up the process significantly (and will also result in a more uniform finish, but that's besides the point), but then he needs to buff out the sanding marks with a rotary and then polish the paint to brilliance.

Could end up taking a similar amount of time or a bit less. Who knows?

All I know is that I need help. *Sigh*

Whew! Wash, wipe, wax, wipe... but it'll likely rain later again as usual.

Seats are finally out as well as the seat rack! Gonna buy some dynamat to kill some of the road noise and exhaust drone. Chris it is so tempting to make a see-through plexiglass panel and do the wooded trunk like you wanted lit up with some orange LEDs.
