most people go with black on cgm but i think silver stripes add a bolder contrast and "pop" more.

I still want to try to put these on my car but not sure on the look. I tried the $28 special from ebay but the conture of the fenders made them wrinkle and uneven and i dont want to spend the $200+ on the precut ones. But damn they do look good

I wonder how plasti dip hash marks would look? guess you could clear coat them if you wanted a gloss look. and you can space em or make em what ever size you wanted.

Historically they were added to one side of the car for pit-crew identification. I've seen alot of vintage race photos where they are on both sides though.

I had mine painted on. The wrap all the way around, and into the wheel well. They look really clean.

I went with both for the sake of symmetry. Le Mans corvettes had them on one side for identification by the pit.

I just wanted to say, your car was the inspiration to get my stripes. I had thought about them after seeing them on a corvette, but when I saw white on black, I HAD to have it.

http://www.bigwormgraphix.net/2010ca...arkstripes.htm $50 both sides. Pay $200 for hash marks and you are gettin robbed. I'm a big supporter of Big Worm. They installed my Hash marks in their shop last October and there is no bubbles, peeling, or sun damage.

I'd say thats a bad idea. Vinyl is cheap and available in gloss or matte finish. My stripes (installed by big worm graphics) have been on the car a year this month and have no peels, bubbles, or sun damage (and I live in Texas!)

I chose 4" wide, ending at the curve, and offset the colors to match my hood design:

I was lucky in that the guy that did mine test fitted several different styles @ no charge, we tried 5" wide, 4" with 1/4" pin stripe, all the way down and ending at the curve..

He was great working with me to decide which looked the best, and in the end this is what we decided looked best for the over-all look I was going for.

I have received a ton of compliments on it, from older folks and younger folks and all in between, I have not heard 1 negative comment in person, and only got one negative response on this forum about it.

I have plastidip stripes. Nobody had matte black on black and I wanted to see what it looked like. So it started off as just a temporary thing, but I liked it and haven't had any issues. Been on for about 9 months. They look different sizes in the picture but they're the same.

They look odd wrapped under IMO. The corvettes do not wrap under. I like the look of the clean edge where the fender line is.

Here are mine from a while back, I do not have them anymore. I got mine here: http://camarodecalstore.com/GRAND-SP...PE-GSF-111.htm
