Question

Are dogs allowed in the gates? I'd like to bring her but didn't see anything on their site.

Ya, I've seen quite a few walking around, so should be no problem.

As long as we are talking about the same 4-legged K-9s.

So who is racing? Post up if you are.

Also how many people are going to the BBQ, I heard people are bailing now.

I will not be racing. And I may not even be able to make it... I would have to borrow the $150 in gas money, on top of what I have already borrowed to survive this last year. Plus I am in school now, and I am trying to catch up on some assignments. They told me half way through a class that I was supposed to be taking it...

I don't know, I've been looking forward to this all year as I do every year. It sucks being in this shitty position, I hate to bail when so many others have. Ben and others have spent some time putting this together. Not just this year either.

I don't know yet, I am still debating it :-/

I'm in for the bbq. I have a few more things to take care of before I take it back to the track with my new bumper and getting rock chips, haha. =)

I'll be spectating and taking pictures on Saturday though!

Oh I see your flag now... LOL
I wish it was easier, but like I just told Jay, I am struggling between what I want to do and what I should do. If I can finish all this work by Friday I may still go and eat the added debt in hopes I find work soon to pay it off. I really want to go, I love road trips and visiting you all and family while I am there... Plus sometimes I just need to get out when I have been stuck in the house too long. So it's good at the same time, but not good if I miss an assignment or can't afford to repay my debt.

Not sure why so many have bailed, but that's my scandal.

Same here- gotta have the tires balanced, swap pads and turn rotors and I'm set! Better get that registration in quick man, we just got one more Camaro this morning, slots are almost gone.

Gonna be a blast!

If you're coming out Sunday ONLY:

Here's the BBQ locale. All the Sat people will be filtered in by noon. If any Sunday peeps want to join us for breakfast, we'll have a location posted for that soon

I will be racing Saturday then I have to go home Saturday night.

Its my first time on a road course. Friday I am putting in good brake pads and fresh oil. It's supposed to be 83 degrees on Saturday, should I be doing anything to make sure the car stays cool like a 160 thermostadt?

You should be fine with the weather being 83 degrees. Def bring some extra oil, as ii'm sure your car will consume more than you're used too. Also watch your oil temp, dont want it getting to hot. just be sure to pull of track, and you'll only loose out on maybe an extra lap. They usually only run 20 min sessions. I 'used' to run an oil cooler and could stay out their no problem, but not sure what happens to our cars without them....and you're brake pads are probably going to be worn down, so be cognizant of that as well.

I'll go over that type of stuff Saturday morning if you want with anyone who's interested.
