Mind boggled

Alright so I had someone order me a CAI awhile back and it didn't hook up because the Mass airflow sensor bolt holes didn't line up with the ones on the intake. I thought it was because the intake was for a 10-11 camaro (thanks to the guy at pep boys who obviously couldn't read.) But as I was looking at a new CAI to order, I noticed the holes still don't line up. Someone shed some light on my situation please

Are you ordering a CAI that fits your specific year and model? What systems are you looking at that are not matching up?

Yessir, here's a link to the intake I was looking at... http://www.apex-speed.com/injen-powe...d-pf7012p.html
Notice the holes are even with each other. On my '12 v6 camaro the holes line up diagonal from each other, almost identical to this one... https://www.google.com/search?q=2012...jvRVbebcWBklM:

It will only bolt up the one way, I wish it would be that easy! Lol

I had someone in the pep boys speed shop order the original one for me. I'm not worried as much about where its bought from, I just want it to line up.

well.. what brand is the actual intake??
BBK? volant? airade? god awful K&N? cold air inductions?
.... and why pep boys?
they're usually over priced, and you can just buy one off amazon and install it.

It was injen. But the pep boys speed shop could get it there next day, seemed like a good idea. Definitely over paid, along with the worst customer service. But what's "god awful" about k&n?

I have a K&N on my DD. Thought it was a good idea at the time for a chevy impala. However, now I realize it was a waste of money. I personally don't care for K&N. To me they are cheaply made and not very well constructed. I would never recommend them to anyone.

Seems like the k&n one is the only one that looks like it would match up correctly, just my luck.

Many of the images manufacturers provide for product descriptions have a disclaimer that says something like, "representative image, actual product may not match exactly". In other words, there is a very good chance that is not a picture of the exact intake so I would not get too hung up on it. If you order a 2012 intake from us you will get an intake that fits.

I have ordered from Chase with Apex and I got one word. Amazing. Actually I got many words. Great customer service, quick shipping, products shipped safely. If you go with Apex...you can't go wrong.
