Who got VIN 150000 built early oct '12?

I think I remember that the VINs are not camaro specific but also are mixed with another vehicle?? Was 150000 a Camaro?

You are correct in that the VINS are mixed in (other than ZL1)

Regal and XTS are on the same assembly line as Camaro.

150000 happens to be a Cadillac XTS

Wait, wut?!

So, for example, my car is number 5017 (from MY 2010). You're saying that 5018 could have been a cadillac and 5019 could have been a buick?

This kinda blows my mind... I thought all VIN sequences were unique to the vehicle model...

I think the first year (2010) has vins that are only camaro specific.

The 2011 MY has all the other weird variations...

For 2010 they are unique yes but starting in 2011 Oshawa was no longer "Camaro" specific.

The ZL1's are still unique/sequential though.

So, VIN's are specific to the plant, not the car?

That seems like a headache to try and keep track of vehicles...
