Dash board

I just put on some 22" rims on my car. As I was driving out of the parking lot, my lights on my dashboard lit up. The car drives fine but my dashboard is lit up like a Christmas tree!! Could someone tell me how to turn this off.

got to be more specific then that. the ONLY light that could be on due to your rims is the tpms system. but to be "lit up" kinda confused on that one. take a pic of the dash. and then people can help you better.

are they 22's that actually fit the car? are the tpms learned on the car? were the rims installed by u or a shop

if its a reputable shop that did it then they might not have transferred your tire pressure sensors... and if they did transfer them then they should relearned it before you got your car back

The rims do fit my car perfectly the sizes are 22x9 in front with 265 30 22 tire and 22 x 10 in back with 285 35 22 tire. They where installed by a shop and they did put the tire sensors on the rims. When I was driving my car, a message came on the dash stating stability track service. Then all my lights turned on that included ABS BRAKE and the traction control icons turned up as well. Im thinking my car needs to be re calibrated because of the bigger rim?

had the same issue, its not the rims, its your tire sizes. cant be more then .5 difference from front to back... use a tire calculator to find out if thats the issue.

He doesn't want 35 up front with those sizes though.

Recommended 22" tires for 2010 Camaro
245/35-22 = 28.8" tall, 8.0-8.5 wheel
255/35-22 = 29.0" tall, 8.0-8.5 wheel
265/30-22 = 28.3" tall, 8.5-9.0 wheel
275/30-22 = 28.5" tall, 9.0-9.5 wheel
285/30-22 = 28.8" tall, 9.5-10.0 wheel
295/30-22 = 28.9" tall, 9.5-10.5 wheel
305/30-22 = 29.2" tall, 10.0-11.0 wheel
315/25-22 = 28.2" tall, 10.5-11.0 wheel

OP your rear tires at 285/35/22 would be 29.85" tall compared to your front 265/30/22 is 28.3" They need to be as close to eachother as possible. As marine1991 said, within .5"

Can you confirm those are in fact the tire sizes you have? If so, your wheel shop screwed the pooch.

Yea I just know the tire sizes are wrong, and should be higher on the middle number then the rear..

Yes sir. You are correct. Or in this case the same size but definitely not higher in the rear. That's never a good idea.
