Heat for sure, they come off super easy with some heat. If there is any residue left, get some "Pre Cleaner" or "Wax and Grease Remover" and use it with a microfiber towel. The residue will come off super easy.

I took the plastic/chrome letters off the sides of mine. First used fishing line and a hair dryer. Read that or saw that somewhere. What happens when you do it that way is a lot of the adhesive stays on the car. Then you waste ten minutes rubbing off the glue. So I say DO NOT USE FISHING LINE. Instead, get a hair dryer on high heat and at full blast start heating up the edge of one letter. After a minute take something plastic, credit card, spoon, whatever as long as it can't scratch the paint, and pry up the edge. You will see the adhesive pull off the car and stick to the letter. Keep the hair dryer on and direct it right where you are slowly lifting up. This way no adhesive is left on the car. It all comes off in one shot. Super easy. About 15 minutes and you'll have both sides done.

The look, I think, is way better. Super easy, start at any one spot, keep the heat blowing on it and all the adhesive comes off!

Are you going to put anything else on the front fender or leave it bare? I think it would look good for the fenders to say ZL1 with Camaro removed and the hood to say something like 6.2 Supercharged and remove the hood ZL1 emblems.

Any thoughts?

No I kind of like the bare look. Plus every time I wash the car I come close to ripping off a letter by accident.

Use dental floss instead of fishing line. Safer for the paint. You can also buy a rubber wheel and attach it to a drill to rub off the tape. IMO

Debadging makes the car look fat like a Charger.

But like the others said, some vinyl fishing line and heat. Then some Goo Off will remove the residue safely.

I've removed lots of badges over the years using just dental floss then a bit of WD-40 to remove any residual glue.

I've tried the fishing line on the rear badge and it stops about 1/2" in from the corner. Is the rear badge studded? Any tips to get it off?

Oh, BTW! NORMAGENE your car is the BOMB! I think AGM is my favorite color on this car.

No studs, just glue. Use the hairdryer on high heat full blower power. Forget the fishing line or dental floss. Gently pry up just a hair then direct the heat for a minute right where you are starting to lift and slowly pull up with the heat hitting the gap. As you pull up slowly you will see the adhesive lift right off the car. If you pull too fast you will leave some of the adhesive on the car and then you waste time cleaning it up afterwards. Slowly with heat and zero adhesive is left behind. Took about 15 minutes to do the camaro letters on both sides. The rear bowtie took 3 minutes tops. Then just a dozen coats of wax and you're all set.

I replaced it with the billet black aluminum bowtie, peel off the paper and stick in place. If you want it to be placed exactly where the original one was, I recommend using painters tape. Four small pieces, two inches long or so for each piece and place them around the left/right/top/bottom edges. Then remove the gold one like above and now you have your tape markers exactly right to align the replacement.
