Even though mine is a V6 automatic I do like to get on it whenever I can. Yesterday I was out with the top down and while making a left hand turn I got on it a little too much and broke the rear end loose. Stabilitrac took over and brought it back in line after it let it get a little sideways. It surprised me since it had never done that before.. Must be getting broken in good now with over 6000 miles on it.

When I was bone stock I was headed to chicago and it was about 1AM, I ran into a cobalt that was messing with me so we both punched it and he pulled my car by maybe about 2 car lengths. I got off at my exit and he followed and I stopped to talk to him, It was a really nice cobalt, every single thing under the hood was chrome he said it was in a sema show and at the time he was 1 of 4 people that had the turbo set up he was running and he was doing testing for it. If I remember right he said he was running like 32 or 34 psi it was a quick little car!

The weight is the same 2900, it had the GMPP tune, intake and cat back. I haven't had it on a dyno, but I would guess 300hp/345tq at the crank. This thing just pulls like crazy when you mat the pedal.

Edlebrock supercharger / Hurst shifter / exhaust / suspension upgrades /
tire - wheel upgrade = when ever I get the chance to have fun (more legal at the 1/4 mile drag strip). On ramps / off ramps are the best - but don't need to get a ticket. |

interesting...cause from what i've heard my car with my mods and my tune should pull on an ss camaro from anything over 40 roll. *if the camaro is stock or mostly stock* and note, from a dig we get smoked no matter what -__-
also should be noted i'm not trying to start anything here lol. i have nothing but respect for camaro's. not many people have ever run 30+ psi on this car though. he must've been fully built, and be someone's sponsor. big turbos are hard to come by for cobalts, especially cause he made it seem like maybe it was the ZFR, there really aren't many of those out. generally, if a cobalt is tuned it will run anywhere between 19-24 psi. that's about the average. a stock cobalt will be destroyed by a stock camaro ss though. especially if it's the supercharged cobalt. mod and tune and that's where it gets interesting

that's awesome man! i think i'd be putting out about 340-350hp and 365-380tq or so at the crank. i have yet to be dyno'd. but i'm also planning on going to a 50-50 mix of e85 and pump 93 gas...aka e47. which is good for another 30-40hp and tq.

I gave the car to my 17 year old daughter for her first car. It's still in my name, but she is the primary driver on it and more than fast enough for her. I think a lot of people under estimate the LNF cars GM has made.
