Get a car cover for future romantic endeavors ...call it a car condom if you want...tell the wife you have to have one for "safe parking"!

Start sleeping on top of the cat at night. He won't be able to get up to go sleep on your car

If you put a comfy cover on the car, he'll always sleep on the car, but if you put spikes in it, he'll only jump on the car once.

Way back when the neighbors cat would be on my hood when I left for school. A few "here kitty kitty's" later he ended up on the roof of the house, he never returned.

My recommendation is either

a. next feeding cage the little fuker and take him out in the boonies
or
b. car cover with tape on the out side of it, sticky side up

One time I had this problem, my neighbor started feeding 2 kittens, 2 kittens turned into 20 cats in a summer, (not even kidding) these cats loved to fight, and love to jump all over my beloved 76 corvette, I was getting scratches and all other things, finally one of them bled on my hood, and every drop of blood etched into the paint overnight, literally. I tried cayenne pepper, moth balls, citrus, animal repellent, none of it worked.
I had enough. I can't say how I got rid of the cats, but I did get rid of them. I'm not one to take a life, but when you spend 1400.00 on a spot repair for some cats, then you think differently.

The biggest crime here is that you're prioritizing garage space for a third gen, amirite???????????

... Just kidding, dude. Lol

I've got no say in this, I have two cats but they're spayed/neutered and live inside.

You killed 20 cats?! Wow ok.

When I was young my parents house had a lot of cats around it and to keep them off my beloved ride I found that they didn't like the smell of mothballs. No joke, I put them in a small tray on the car and kept the cats off it. Sometimes I needed 2 little bowls one for each end of the car. Moth crystals worked as well and was heavier(didn't blow away). Hope that helps.

You know those padded non slip fender covers that you use when working on the engine? Get a few of them and put them on your hood at night, they won't move around when the cat climbs on your car, and they'll protect the paint.
