So from the looks of it just practice with the clutch and see where it launches best between 2000-3000 rpms

Best way to Launch

It used to be to join NASA and become an astronaut, but now with the space shuttles all being retired...?

Joey

I googled the subject. I don't have any first hand experience but maybe these videos will help you.

I checked out all the settings I can change but nothing was found regarding profile name.

my .02. launch control sucks, turn off T/C, depending on surface grip vary launch rpm.

on hot sommer days you might be able to lauch at 3k+, in colder temps you might have to come down or risk to much wheels spin.

the perfect launch is no bog without excessive wheelspin. the problem with all the PtM modes is they step in too agressive and leave power on the table. you can feel them step in.

A mod needs to help you with that and I don't know how willing they will be. They can't be going around changing people's screen names any time they feel like a change. Move along, don't you have some exams to administer?

....FWIW, Johnny Law frowns on that...., and IMHO if you had to ask, it's probably in your best interest not doing it in that particular venue....for everyone's sake. The car can be a handfull, and can be lost pretty easily. Just sayin...

There is nothing wrong with using launch control on the street as long as he obeys the speed limit. Geez!

Doing this in the State of Florida will net you a ticket, even if you don't go over the posted speed.

Thanks for the info. I have another question and just figured I'd post it in here rather then starting a new thread. How closely did you guys follow the break in. I feel it's going to be tough to resist the urge to not go above 4000 rpms however it seems that it's important to get the optimal life out of your engine. Also, do you recommend getting all the fluids changed after break in is over. Thanks again in advanced.

I never bothered with the break in routine, I've always just driven my cars. I did a fluid change at 1000 miles and again at 5K and every 5K after that. I've yet to have any issues with any of my cars.
