Funny you should ask.... i noticed on Amazon the cig adapter was cheap.. put it in the "cart" and shipping was about $12.99..... on top of the $2.99 price. Void cart.

The cigarette adapter won't work. With the key off the 12v adapters are dead.

Looking at a battery tender as well, any reason to go with the more expensive plus model instead of the jr? They are running a small rebate on the plus through the end of the month but doesn't seem needed for winter storage?

Thanks in advance for help

I don't really see any need to get the plus... its just bigger and bulkier, for winter storage the Jr. is small, and will maintain your battery at full charge with no issues.

Battery tenders are a must if you are storing the car for weeks of months, worth every penny. I have one for all my cars and they preserve everything electrical in the car as if it were being driven daily.

$20 Diehard battery tender at sears. Keep it on my old Trans Am so it's always ready. Automatic cycling so very easy to use. Comes with permanent terminals for battery or regular alligator battery clamps.
Looks like price has gone up a little since I bought it.
