what beautiful weather before the storm. The temp reading on the radio said 83 yesterday when I got out of work, so I put the top down and took the wife on (hopefully not) one last open air drive for 2012. We saw lots of others doing the same. Unfortunately it was a short one, because I had to get to some yard work I have been neglecting for a few weekends.

Was talking to my brother last night, who lives in Georgia, and he had me hold on so he could take care of this. Taken from his back porch with a Weatherby .300 mag. Tis the season.

I nvr had a chance to be introduced to the fellow trucker who sat next to me at Pizza Hut in Watkins Glen. I know he was a SWIFT driver. Anyone else know who it was?

Got the car back, running fine. Did Bowtie delete and added header emblem (same as on my old Z28).

I actually did use the OnStar iPhone app to monitor the car. From the time I left it in the Garage at 5:30 PM until the next morning it did not move. Sometime that morning it was driven 9 miles. Since they needed to get it up to full temperatures and make sure it didn't overheat I'm fine with that.

Here's the same emblem on my old Z28:

Glad everything worked out good! I had an 85 Z28, couldn't get out of it's own way, but it sure looked purty

Mine was an '84 with the H.O. engine, 5 spd. manual, 3.73 rear end, etc. - all the performance I could order. Still slower than my current car but fast for back then.
