That's a good question. When a car is starting out we have tainers learn the jobs first then they in turn train the rest of us. Most of the people on the line have beeen building cars for over 20 yrs and some things carry over from car to car. So for the most part we know basically what needs to be done. We just need to fine tune what we do.

Hi Mole. Just got word from my dealer that I should have a VIN by the end of next week. I am guessing that means she will at least start down the assembly line next week. The coincidental thing is I will be visiting my girls family in Sudbury starting Wednesday of next week so I might be within shouting distance when she gets built. It will be hard to be that close and not try to sneak in to watch the process but I will leave her in yours and all your co-workers capable hands to take good care of her. Thanks and keep up the good work.

Do you guys have the trainers around for the first few VINs that go down the line, or do you have test cars hit the line first?

Also, thanks for building great cars, and the awesome information!
