Up and at em already this morning.... Have to get Jenny washed ( she looks like pigpen) this morning and then it is off to the Imperial Palace for breakfast with the APEX crew. Then it's a cruise to Red rock Canyon and then down to Arizona line to get Powerball tickets .......

I know everyone wants pics from the SEMA show but no photo equipment is allowed unless you have press credentials.... But you never know ........

BTW, the Halloween lights are up, including the Purple People Eater, but I'm just not going to make it to the music animation this year. Just too much homework.

I have a sad stroy to tell.... I spent the 30 years prior to Oct 2008 working for Eastman Kodak Co. For most of that time they had a really good benefits program. Then they decided that the co. wasn't doing well so in order to save some money they changed health insurance companies. The new insurance, which we still have, is the pits. When I got laid off in 2008, they called it a retirement since I had 30 years with the co. As a retiree my health insurance continued, albeit they charged me more for it than an active employee. In Jan this year Kodak filed chapter 11 with the courts in NY. Three weeks ago they petitioned the court to allow then to completely drop medical ins., life ins., dental ins. and long term disability insurance for retirees. The court is expected to rubber stamp the request. So, sometime prior to the first of the year I've either got to find affordable health insurance or I've got to become another of the uninsured. I'm kinda bummed.

Vince, I LOVE Red Rock Canyon. I couldn't begin to tell you how much time I spent there as a kid. Have fun. Take some pics there in the Canyon.

Today marks one week of being on Medifast Diet. 12 lbs lost!(mostly all water weight it flew right off.now shld be 3-5 week) First few days was rough adjusting to lower carbs but it feels easy now. Not hungry at all. Officer sitting right next to me here having coffee has lost 58. Oh and he says hello no donut jokes. Sure can't hurt the situation here. 50 lbs lighter could be worth a tenth couldn't it?

I'm getting impacted from Hurricane Sandy as the east coast office has shifted quite a lot of "responsibilities" to me. And today is my first day back from vacation and have almost an entire week's of work to catch up on.

Great start to the work week. But as usual, I will finish what I can finish.

There needs to be a law against screwing retirees out of the benefits that they worked their whole life to get. I hope that you can find some sort of affordable coverage.

I'm supposed to pick her up on Wednesday. I'm going to stop by there tomorrow to confirm that, maybe snap a few "in progress" pics.... I had to be difficult and create a custom pattern that required much more labor than they anticipated. I did the same thing with my wheels - you would think they would expect that from me by now!

Congrats on the weight loss!! I started dieting so I could fit into a certain dress I want to take on the cruise.... I've dropped 2 sizes in about a month
