Feel Good story

I went to my dealer today to finalize my paperwork so when my car arrives it is an easy pick up. When I went there, Sarah said my 21's and stripes were their. While i waited a moment for her I was looking at the 1LT in the showroom and met another gentleman in line for his car. I am #2 and he is #3. He and his wife accompanied Sarah and myself into parts and she showed us my 21's. They look AWESOME.
My car will be in next week, schedule delivery at railyard in Drew Fl is 6/16/09. Sarah says it will be marked hot and delivered in 72 hours.
This woman is a saint. Her name is Sarah Hollowfield @ Cox Chevrolet in Bradenton, Fl. Today she handed me off to a sales person, did all the paperwork / financing stuff so now it's just delivery.
How much more could you ask for?

Speaking of the RS package wheels, shouldn't that be automatic when you order an RS? Mine is a 2SS/RS IOM, but the window sticker says 20" painted aluminum wheels. I asked my salesman about this because every time I would go to the Chevy website and build my car it automatically put the black wheels on it and I told him that's not what I wanted. He said don't worry because with the RS package they won't come that way. Any thoughts why it would come with the painted ones (which I assume are the black ones) when I never requested that?

If it says POLISHED aluminum wheels you're looking @ the $470 upgrade.

Other than that you should be getting the Midnight Silver RS wheels. Window stickers are strange beasts... they like to show you things and then override themselves further down. So you might be seeing the stock SS option (pained aluminum) which is modified by the RS package to add the MS aluminum. It's like reading an entirely different language sometimes.
