I can re-flash the Jannetty tune and it is back to the +30 or 40 HP feel mode. Now is it re-writing the octane tables, I don't think so, but it's re-writing something.

I am pretty certain there is some sort of fuse pull that will do the same thing by un-learning the adaptive learning it went through and putting it back to stock/learn again mode.

All of this (my situtation) points to a mechanical situation that is causing false knock and the ECM is trying to adapt to it.
GTAHVIT had an exhaust vibration that did it to his. And his is tuned.

But my car never had that. I was running 14+ second quarter miles consistantly for 2 months and then in one day I went to 13 seconds.

Something obvioulsy happened in the computer. At this point I just don't know what.

PQ..I remember that thread and fixed my slight exhaust rattle. I believe it is my injectors. They are louder than any LS3 I have heard

when 4 & 8 in car from factory to improve cafe miles per gal car can have a drone sound in Exhaust. when taken out of computer car runs on 8 at all times slight loss of mpg, mine was half mile per gal. no drone in exhaust now. you should check with SLP for spec on how they tuned your Camaro.

I think that's only on the automatics. Mine is a standard LS3.

Question here, Ive read through about 10-15 pages or so, Not reading this whole thread,lol....but anyways question is, Is there any reason for me to do the Fuse pull in my 2012 L99 SS, I am Jannetty tuned and modded.. Should I still do the fuse pull thingy?? Think the answer is No if your tuned but just wanted to be sure.......
Thanks.......

That is correct. A custom tune makes the fuse pull a moot point... Even though there is new debate on whether the fuse pull does anything at all.

I for one, like many others, felt a difference afterwards, but investigations using the scientific method continues in an attempt to prove or debunk the butt dyno gains.

Thanks for the quick reply, I figured it wasn't necessary when being tuned.....

Hello, I read the first 15 or so pages and the last couple of pages. I have a used low mileage 740ish 2010 SS...

I was hoping that someone could let me know if I need to do a fuse pull or get an update or what the verdict is on this. Will it reset it back to high octane tables if low octane was ever put into it?

Thank you!
