A Honda Accord coupe weighs quite a bit less than a 2V GT, and makes more power. Of course a higher powered, lighter car will pull a bit harder top end. Yet, he is bragging about his modded Accord running mid 13's, and apparently DESTROYING 3V GT's, GTO's, LS1's, etc.

I also want to see this magical brick wall where all Mustangs fall on their faces top end. I've never heard of it with the 4 Mustangs I've owned. Same goes for GTO's, LS1's, etc.
Um...... The Accord V6 coupe weighs 3300 lbs, which is (if I'm not mistaken) the same as any 99-04 new edge mustang. The Accord was rated 240-244 hp, GT 260 hp, but both dyno ~220 whp(fwd has lower parasthetic drivetrain loss). So same hp, same weight, 100 lb ft less torque(at the flywheel) but faster at speed. How do you explain this ? Well It's all in the power band..... Notice what happens past ~4800 rpm, the 2v runs out of breath as it gets closer to redline(look at 5500 rpm, the 2v is making well under 200 whp and the J30 has over 210 whp).
2v

AV6-6

Top end hp wins races once speeds climb.

Sidenote:
-Bolt on Pontiac G8's run 14's where I live at, so I wouldn't call it an unfair comparison to a bolt on AV6-6.

That being said if the Mustang owner can't drive or get traction then you could absolutely win; that's evident with the last video posted where the Mustang GT lost by running a 15.0.
How is it that the 05 - 09 Mustang GT (rated at like 320TQ) is putting down 290 - 300 RWTQ?? Was the TQ underrated or something....I've never seen drivetrain loss that low.

Never said a V6 Accord wouldn't beat a 2V GT. You stated earlier a modded accorded beat a modded 2V GT. Before, you claimed a stock accord would also beat a 3V GT, and a bolt-on accord would also keep up, if not beat a bolt-in 3V GT. Yet, this bolt-on accord runs mid-high 13's, which is STOCK 3V territory.

Here's a few stock 3v dyno's.

I claimed an Accord V6 6-speed 03-07 with good driver will beat any stock auto 2v GT and run dead even with stock manual 2v(which is slighly faster off the line, but this is offset by the AV6-6 being slightly faster from a roll). I don't recall posting a stock AV6-6 beating a 3v GT, I lost to 5 or 6 when I was stock(but I was within a bumper through the top of 3rd with most of them). But after my mods I was, at them minimum, dead even or slightly ahead of any other 3v's. The bolt on Accord I posted earlier trapped a DA-corrected 105.4 mph, which is much faster then any stock 2v or 3v. So yes I stated that as well. He also ran a DA-corrected 13.3 while MISSING 4th, if you watched the video and read up on it. So I would say this is valid proof(low 13's, 105+ trap, 270+ whp in a 3200 lb car) is running with or beating a run of the mill bolt on 250-290 whp 3600 lb 3v.

I don't own a Honda anymore, so not sure why I'm into this haha.... I just think it's 10 times funner being the underdog and winning. There's no fun in beating some v6 family sedan-based coupe when you have a 15 mpg 2 door "muscle car" with 8 cylinders of noise and a stiff 5-speed manual and rock hard clutch(I test drove an 04 GT manual a while back). The V6 Camaro owners know where I'm coming from when I talk about "being the underdog". Reminds me of a time when I beat a S197 GT with temp tags and super loud ass exhaust (that was dumped I'm assuming), he had his gf in the car...... Then he lost to an Accord. She was probably thinking, "This is supposed to be a muscle car???"

A G37 equally driven as a 335 will never beat the 335.

Same trap speed, if the 335i had an extra passenger the G would slowly pull. This is manual 335i, the auto's are ~.5 tenths slower.
