Anyone else shock that Lucas sold EVERYTHING to Disney
Anyone else shock that Lucas sold EVERYTHING to Disney
First thing Disney says is StarWars Episode 7 2015 He sold them the rights to everything, and everything including the kitchen sinks to them. Like Lucas is cashing out before the end of the world. I fear StarWars Episode 7, knowing Disney it will be 2hr's long with 45min's of it montage songs. |

Lucas has been a sellout for years now. He has whored the Star Wars brand out to anyone that will fill his pockets. He is getting up there in age, so he pushed all his chips in for one last cash out. Can't say I blame him. They guy showed he clearly doesn't have "it" anymore after the episode 1-3 abortions. Time to let someone else run with the ball.

The first one wasn't so bad. The other two were God awful. Worst acting I have ever seen in a movie as big as those were.

I don't see what the big deal is. Disney might squeeze out a sequel or 2 and then here comes the remakes. Yup don't even try and think they wouldn't dare and if they mess those movies up they'll remake the remakes. The geeks will complain but then they will get in line and buy a ticket.
It'll go down just like Star Trek. |

But Lucas allows allot of fan based art, he isn't all about the money.
And he needs another 4 billion like he need another beard comb. neither adds up right, as I see Disney clamping down on the fan base real soon to try and get their 4 billion back, and will jade the core fans. |

I am not worried at all. This is probably a really good thing for the Star Wars franchise. Its already been a good thing for Marvel, ie. Avengers. Would you rather they sold out to Sony????

Disney already had a relationship ... Star Tours in Disneyland for years, and Star Wars features have been in Disneyworld for almost as long... no surprise. Disney is a good company, I think it will be OK.
