Lowest price you've seen for an SS??
Post up what you have seen. NOT including any discounts or if your dad owns the dealership or anything like that. I'm talking the price available to the general public, not including tax and crap like that.
I've found a bunch locally in the 32k range, the lowest being: $32,405 |

With markup, just to get the dumb dealers exposed.
Honestly, where I am from (western, NY) I have seen ZERO markup, and they are selling well. I made a thread earlier today showing a dealers inventory of 5 SS's, well, since then they have updated, and sold 2 of them, but got 2 more in to replace them, lol. |

I just called a local GM dealer and we built one online together, meaning as he was asking me what options I wanted I was doing the same here on my laptop. At the end he quoted me almost 4k over what I had sitting in front of me. Do the dealers have a different build your own program?
He also told me they had a black 2SS/RS on the lot because the GM had used one of their allocations (of 9 total allocations for his dealership, according to him) and decided that he didn't want it...that sounds to me like he used up an allocation in order to get one on the lot that he could mark up to some rediculous price... |

Here is a screen shot from their website right now: ![]() There are 6 or 7 more Chevy dealers in my area, and all are selling at MSRP. It would make sense to buy it here and pay $500-$1000 to ship than to pay $4k over sticker locally. Or maybe fly in, pick up the car, and take a nice road trip home to break it in! |
