I hear you man. About three months ago there were lie 10 camaros in east county. Now it seems like there are hundreds! And I might as well be waiving to mustang owners. I try to wave, and they just look at me sideways like a stupid dog.

I wave!!!! I don't flash my lights though... I also give a nice stare too - I want to see if they have any modifications - most people don't even look in my direction - the people that wave are few and far between here in the Nashville, TN area!

When we got our Camaro in 2010, you didn't see many on the road and the wave was a common thing! Now,I guess they're a lot more on the road and the wave is almost non existent!
 Never had one flash their headlights at me before but I've flashed a few of them with the Afterburners!! Lols !!

Do like me and make their heart stop. Get halos and keep them on flashing blue but keep them off, then when they don't wave follow them and turn them on.
I'm joking, I've never done that but have been tempted to with some people driving three wide at 65 on the interstate. I don't think I'll risk the impersonation felony though. |

Maybe they are paying attention to the road?
My grandpa would fous on the road and I would pass him (he knew my vehicles) honk wave and he wouldnt see me. I was like WTF he never noticed. You could probabaly cross in front of him and he wouldnt have seen me.

If you want to be around people who would wave back, hit a local car meet.
And where I'm from flashing your headlights means there is a speed trap up ahead. You may not be getting waves back when you do that, but you might be getting people to slow down.

The summer of 2009 was the best. The Camaro got more honks, waves, thumbs up, camera phone pics, shouts from kids etc than I would have anticipated. It was almost embarrassing at times. Now the "newness" has worn off but I still go out of my way to acknowledge and compliment 5th gens.
By contrast, no one ever notices the V. Had a Panamera S that thought he was going to pass me on a two-lane I-40 merging ramp Saturday. The look on his face was priceless.
